Captain Antanas Gedmantas was the reserve officer of Lithuanian Army. He served in the Union of Lithuanian Rifleman until the Soviet occupation of Lithuania in 1940. He was arrested on the first days of Soviet occupation in 1940. After beginning of the German - Soviet war in 1941 the prisoners were moved to the Soviet Union from Lithuania. He was shot by the bolsheviks in Belarus on June 1941.
